Three fourths of the male members of the band (two thirds of the total band personnel) wear shoes by Rachel Comey. These are Bones'.
En route: Chicago to Minneapolis. Everything was going well until about this point, then Roja started losing power again.
We pulled off the highway and had to take local roads for about 120 miles, as Roja would not break 40 mph on the flat and 25 mph going up hills. We could occasionally pick up some speed going down hills, to the tune of 55 mph or so, a technique called "Hildoggin." Hildoggin is the only reason we made the gig on time.
